Producing high quality plastic based proteins

The IXI industry complex is a vertical structure with a large-scale plastic filtration system at its core. This system collects and processes ocean plastic for conversion into usable materials. Surrounding the filtration core are mealworm habitats where the insects consume the processed plastic, converting it into protein-rich biomass. A vertically integrated robotic system automates breeding, feeding, cleaning, and harvesting phases in the mealworm habitats.
